Hi! Ryan Jacob here. I’m currently a student at University of California, Berkeley, and I’m pursuing Chemical Engineering, focusing on Clean Air Engineering. My major is tough, but I’ve long decided this is the path I want to take. To keep sane, I join intramural sports like 3-on-3 basketball, flag football, and dodgeball.

Having lived in California for almost all my life, I grew up a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, and the San Francisco Giants. During my childhood, my family and I would watch games in sports arenas and never miss a game on TV. Now that I’m older, I still follow that tradition.

College can be stressful, and my field of study sure has its ways to make me feel frustrated. When I need to have fresh perspectives on matters, I turn to photography. That and living a healthy and active lifestyle help me recollect after moments of frustration. Realizing that your body is the only one you’ll have makes you take care of it the best way possible.
